These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ScribbleBill (the "Service"), provided by Dillan Cohen ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
ScribbleBill is an AI-powered tool that converts images, text, and voice notes into digital invoices. The Service utilizes third-party artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude) to process and extract data from your uploads.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
3. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. They provide all customer service inquiries and handle returns.
Billing
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees indicated for that service.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Please contact support@scribblebill.com to initiate a request. Refund decisions are at our sole discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
Your Content (Inputs)
You retain all ownership rights to the images, text, and voice notes you upload ("User Content").
AI Output
To the extent permitted by law, you own the invoices and data generated by the Service.
Our Property
The ScribbleBill name, logo, code, and design are the exclusive property of Dillan Cohen and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
5. AI Disclaimer and Accuracy
No Guarantee of Accuracy
ScribbleBill uses experimental AI technology (Anthropic Claude). While we strive for accuracy, the Service may occasionally produce incorrect data, misinterpret handwriting, or fail to extract certain fields.
User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of every invoice before sending it to a client. We are not responsible for financial losses, billing errors, or disputes arising from incorrect AI-generated content.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purposes or to:
- Upload sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, health records, etc.).
- Reverse engineer the Service.
- Use the Service to train a competing AI model.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Dillan Cohen be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to the use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the six months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
